Tube Inspection

When tubes need to be inspected for possible indentations 3D quality inspection is the way to go. By creating a metric 3D model indentations can be easily detected as deviations from the ideal tubular form, moreover they can be metrically quantified. The latter is important as indentations may only become a problem when they exceed certain dimensions. Eliminating only the problematic cases therefore reduces scrap from the production process.
