Vision++ starts research project GRaB

On April 1st 2010 Vision++ started the ambitious research project GRaB. Together with integrators Van Hoecke Automation, Plakoni and Hero Technologies and robot manufacturers Stäubli, Kuka, Fanuc and Epson a generic Random Bin Picking application is being developed and tested on 4 industrial case studies.

Vision++ brought together an impressive consortium and applied for a research grant at the IWT for endorsing the development of the 4 prototypes. The project received a positive evaluation and is currently being executed by Vision++ and the partners. Soon, the results will be shared through the project website (currently still under construction).
